All requests to hire Ambulance vehicles, paramedics, uniforms, equipment or NSW Ambulance property must be made in writing and include the following information:
- Time/s, date/s and location/s of the assignment (including maps for particular filming sites)
- Brief overview of the assignment including the role of the Ambulance Service
- Name and contact numbers of relevant production staff
- Script overview

Note: It is not always possible to fulfill requests and all requests will be reviewed by the NSW Ambulance Media and Marketing team
Fees apply for all hire requests and are calculated according to the resources, period of time and day required.
There is a minimum fee of $1198.55 (weekday), $1563.49 (Saturday & Public Holiday) and $1746.02 for Sunday. All prices are GST inclusive and include 3 hours on site and up to 50kms travel and is for 2 paramedics in an operational vehicle. Additional time on site and travel in excess of 50kms is calculated in 30 minute increments as per our User Pays Policy.
Terms and conditions
Terms and conditions are unique to each application and apply to the hire of all Ambulance property and paramedics. Property must be stored in a secure area and is the responsibility of the hirer. All equipment must be returned clean and in an acceptable condition.
Note: All ambulance vehicles may only be driven by our personnel.
We review scripts and provide extras for a range of independent film productions and commercial television series. We have also been involved in commercials with NSW Police and NSW Roads and Traffic Authority.
