Open access information not publicly available

Open access information not disclosed due to an overriding public interest against disclosure
The Ambulance Service is required by the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act), to provide a record of the open access information that it does not make available to the public on the basis of an overriding public interest against disclosure.

For more information on how government agencies apply the public interest test when determining whether or not to release information, the Office of the Information Commissioner has a special fact sheet on this topic on their website at www.oic.nsw.gov.au (see "What is the public interest test?" Fact Sheet)

The Ambulance Service is currently reviewing information that may be publicly released and published on our website.

As the Ambulance Service of NSW makes decisions about open access information that may not be disclosed due to an overriding public interest, it will publish this information on its website.
