If you are currently employed in the ambulance industry you could be employed as a Qualified Paramedic or Intensive Care Paramedic. You would need to meet the appropriate clinical level, experience and successfully progress through our recruitment processes.

The Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Committee reviews and recognises the qualifications and prior experience of applicants. We can also individually assess the qualifications, scope of practice and relevant experience of interstate and international applicants. Suitable applicants are provided with a specific training and orientation program upon offer of employment.

Qualified Paramedics are recruited throughout the year for regular training intakes. The selection process is highly competitive and generally takes four months or less to complete.

Previous Paramedic staff are welcome to re-join Ambulance; a streamlined recruitment process ensures successful applicants commence employment in a shorter timeframe.
