A multi-agency response is underway to support communities affected by Tropical Cyclone Alfred. NSW Ambulance is working closely with NSW Health and other emergency services to help keep communities in impacted areas safe.

Stay safe and follow emergency advice

  • Flash flooding can occur quickly and without an official warning.
  • Stay away from fallen trees and powerlines.
  • You may be asked to evacuate. Prepare an emergency kit and have a plan for you, your family and your pets.
  • Prepare your properties for damaging winds - put away loose items around your home, bring pets inside and trim trees away from your property.
  • Download the Hazards Near Me App to stay across the latest warnings and information.
  • Call the NSW SES on 132 500 if you need assistance during a flood, storm or tsunami. In a life-threatening emergency call Triple Zero (000).
