Appreciation Day 2019

Appreciation Day is on Monday 21 October.

The day is an opportunity to recognise the bravery and courage of our NSW Ambulance staff and the outstanding individuals across the NSW community who support them.

Over 50 special life-savers and survivors are presented with awards on the day.  This includes NSW Ambulance paramedics, control centre staff, qualified volunteers, doctors, nurses, corporate and non-operational staff, as well as a diverse range of community members across all ages.  This includes special Star Awards for children and Cardiac Arrest Survivor and Cardiac Arrest Rescuer Awards for members of the public who have been in a medical emergency.

It is an opportunity to give thanks and appreciation for the care and consideration shown by NSW Ambulance staff and courageous members of the community for their actions during a medical emergency.
